Finding Anything Home
Wondering how to search this website and the web in general, to find information for your homeowner projects? It's more complicated than searching for things you're familiar with. You know how to describe clothing like a shirt – type of shirt you want, the size you need, color and fabric preferences.

Others are great project managers identifying problems and getting the work done by family, friends or contractors. That's where finding anything home related helps – there are answers to suit your homeowner personality.
Check out my homeowner personality matrix where you can quickly (5-10 minutes) identify the skills and projects you want to tackle first. You can even see what I do myself versus hiring professionals for things like tuning up my HVAC system.
