The housing industry is changing. If you haven't been watching, you might be surprised by the number of new products coming on the market … to entice us to update our kitchens, bathrooms and more. That's because we're not moving like we used to, so we're remodeling. Bathrooms are getting bigger and fancier with some really unique bathroom sinks that will amaze you.
Outdoor Waterfalls In a Bathroom?
With a lot of focus on creating traditional rooms outdoors, like outdoor kitchens … it seems appropriate that we bring some of our favorite outdoor features indoors. When I found this incredible waterfall sink, I just stopped and stared at it. It's simple and yet, there's something special and I'm curious about the sound the water makes as it hits the stones … like a mountain stream and unlike a sink with a flat bottom.
Now you might be wondering … if the waterfall acts as your faucet, then it has to be fresh water, right. It would be wasteful to run the water all the time and that's what you need to get that visual effect plus the sound of the water splashing. That's why most artificial waterfalls and similar water features used indoors or more often, outdoor landscaping, recycle the water.
While I'd love to show you lots of waterfall sinks, the reality is most of the waterfall fixtures you'll find in bathrooms are waterfall faucets … and they're affordable for you and me.
Unique Bathroom Sinks = Faucets
In fact many unique bathroom sinks start with an innovative faucet. Many are using waterfall inspired designs like those shown above and there are hundreds of designs you can find on Amazon and Pinterest.

And another simple change you might not have noticed in bathroom design, is that many new faucets are on the wall in contrast to popping up from the vanity countertop. Here is one example from TheGadgetFlow.com (don't you love the name).
