Plumbers and electricians must be licensed in most states so my handyman technicians only did work "outside" the walls. That's because it's not easy for anyone to stay on top of current building codes. But what do you do when you realize the bathroom floor has a large puddle? You figure out where the water's coming from and try to fix it first.
